YV Worldwide Singalong FAQs

What happens between signing up and the day itself?
Once you have signed up, you will be sent a link to the resources you need to learn the song. Then you get to know the song and learn the moves in your own time between now and 6th February.

What happens on 6th February?
Get ready for your big singalong! We will send a special link to the live broadcast at least 24 hours before the day. Then at 3pm (UK) or 10am (US), click the link, and you will see our team, who will lead you through some warm-ups before we go to the live feed from Co-op Live in Manchester, UK.

Will I be on camera?
Due to security, we won’t be able to see all of our wonderful singers. However, we encourage everyone to record themselves singing along during their broadcast and share with us on social media using the hashtags, #YVSingalong and #BobMarleyBirthday. We’ll be tweeting and posting throughout the day, and we’d love to hear from you and maybe even share throughout the day and the following week!

How can my family and friends watch my performance if I am not on camera during the broadcast?
We recommend setting up a video recording of your performance before the performance starts so you’re ready! Then, your family can watch you perform while you sing along with Young Voices.

What if I can’t make 3pm UK time?
Don’t worry! The broadcast will be recorded, and you can access it after 3 p.m. if necessary.
